Who we are
Loopstore is a platform that lets designers run their own shop selling crochet patterns and memberships. These terms cover using loopstore.shop and any shop hosted on it. Designers selling through Loopstore are also bound by the seller agreement.
Your account
You need an account to buy, to read, or to run a shop. One account carries both roles. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping access to the email address you sign in with. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
Buying a pattern
When you buy a pattern you are buying from the designer, not from Loopstore. The designer is the seller and the merchant of record. We provide the shop, take payment on their behalf, and deliver the file.
A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the pattern to make items. It does not give you the right to share, resell, or republish the pattern itself. Each downloaded file is watermarked with the account it was issued to.
Digital content and cancellation. Pattern files are digital content delivered immediately. At checkout you agree to immediate access and acknowledge that you lose the fourteen-day right to cancel once download begins. Consumer rights about faulty or misdescribed goods are unaffected.
Memberships
A membership is access, not ownership. It lets you read the patterns a tier covers for as long as the membership is active, and it does not give you files to keep. Memberships renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from your account, keeping access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Refunds
Refunds on individual patterns are the designer’s decision, because the sale is theirs. Contact the shop first. We will step in where a pattern was never delivered, where a payment was taken in error, or where a designer is unreachable.
What you may not do
- Share, resell or republish a pattern you bought or read through a membership.
- Remove or alter a watermark, or try to obtain a file you are not entitled to.
- Upload work that is not yours to sell.
- Use the platform to break the law, or to harass anyone using it.
We may suspend or close an account that does these things, and we may remove content that we reasonably believe infringes someone’s rights.
Our liability
We provide the platform as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for the content or conduct of the shops on it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Changes
We may change these terms. Where a change materially affects you we will give reasonable notice by email before it takes effect.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer protections in your own country.
